Sierra Snowboards

Another Sierra Snowboards deal. Use code 99 to get a 2006, 2007 or 2008 snowboard for $99 (free shipping, too). There isn't much left to choose from, but this board pictured is a Burton Avenue (womens) that is regularly a $500 board and is currently available. Aaron said size 147 would be ideal for someone my size.
It's tax time!
Click here to get Turbo Tax Basic Online for free or the deluxe version for $19.95. That is about a $15 savings! This is only for federal e-file, you still have to pay for state (which for Michigan I think was about $35). Thanks to slickdeals!
Free Cosmetic from Macy's

Head to Macy's (or Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Carson Pirie Scott, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman, Bergner's,
This offer is the result of a 2004 legal settlement in a case that accused cosmetics companies and the retailers of price fixing. Although the companies deny any wrongdoing, the settlement requires them to give away $175 million in makeup to customers who purchased a product between 1994 and 2003. A seven year span, who didn't buy makeup within that 7 year span!
No receipt? You don't keep receipts for makeup you bought 14years ago? :) Luckily for you they're operating on the honor system. Customers claiming a free product will need to sign a form stating they're eligible.
The giveaway began on the 20th and runs through Jan. 26. I went today and two (of maybe 12 items?) were already out of stock, so I would go sooner rather than later. Any remaining items (doubtful) will be donated to charity. I scored some mascara, because I'm out but there is a variety of products to choose from (you only get one).
Manufacturers involved are Estee Lauder, Clinique, Lancome, Clarins, Guerlain, Chanel, Boucheron, L'Oreal and
Details and a list of available products can be found at www.cosmeticssettlement.com.
Thanks go out to MOM who found out about this deal!

Reviews are kind of mixed with Pro Flowers. They do arrive in a box, which can be difficult to manage if you aren't very skilled with floral arrangements. And, sounds like the quality goes down on big holidays.

Spy Sunglasses on sale
And no mom, they don't give you x-ray vision or let you see through walls :)I'm VERY familiar with Spy eyewear because they have a great reputation when it comes to ski and snowboarding goggles (and we own several pairs of them), not sure how the sunglasses hold up, but it's a pretty good deal if you think they are cute.
Check it out here. They are the Bianca model, selling for $19.95, shipping adds about $9. Looks like they go for about $100 or so normally. Too bad they aren't polarized, but still a good deal.
Children's Place Monster Sale
Signing up for placeperks is a must, you can do so here. For every $75 you spend, they will send you a $10 rewards coupon. Additionally, they will automatically put 10 points in your account and email you a 15% off coupon just for signing up. **Update - Lisa has informed me that you need to add a member card number at placeperks. Upon further inspection, I discovered this tidbit: "This program is only being extended to a small number of customers exclusively by mail at this time, we may expand it in the future". Bummer! My suggestion is to sign up for the birthday club and email lists on The Children's Place website and *fingers crossed* that maybe they will send an invite. Sorry guys :(
I ran out last night and purchased this winter coat for Jacob for next year, reg. priced at $49 and change and I picked it up for $18 and change.

If you do decide to shop online, don't forget about ebates! Ebates is a shopping site that gives you Cash Back every time you shop online at participating stores using their website as a portal (so go there, then click on thechildrensplace.com, etc.). If you do sign up, I would love it if you could use my email (danielleswitzer@gmail.com) as a referral and we'll each get a $5 bonus when you make your first purchase! The only thing I don't like about ebates is that they only pay out 4 times a year, so any money you make now you won't see until late May, but it's not really money you were expecting so I guess it's still a pretty good deal anyway. Ebates currently offers 3% cash back on your Children's Place purchase.
Happy shopping!
Pampers Deal
Also, don't forget to sign up for TRU rewards program (Rewards"R"us). It's free and easy and you can sign up online here. Benefits include getting a reward certificate for a free value box of pampers when you buy 9 value boxes.
